Remainder One

Long overdue, Version 1.3 of the FontSee Dashboard Widget is now available!

New Features:

• Handles text pasted from the clipboard correctly.
• Rebuilds font database on reload (Cmd-R) to catch newly enabled/disabled fonts.

Enjoy.

Apologies for the lack of updates. Between contract jobs, a pregnant wife, and a 3 year old, development time has suffered. Hopefully that will change soon.

Progress Report:

• The next version of FontSee is underway. Mostly a bugfix/maintenance release, but way overdue. I hope to release it soon.
• A new product is in the R&D stages now. For now, let’s call it Ghostlight. (Did I mention I had a 3-year old??? Thanks Pixar for making movies you can watch 1,000 times without clawing your own eyes out).
• I’m really looking forward to attending WWDC this year. Got a LOT of research/learning to do for Ghostlight!

Version 1.2 of the FontSee Dashboard Widget is now available.

New Features:

• Support for Intel-based Macs
• The “play” timer interval is now user configurable.

Enjoy.

The new Power Mac G5 will support up to eightdisplays.

Aperture really seems to push the use multiple monitors.

AppleCare will only cover a single display when purchased at the same time as a CPU.

Apple currently provides no way to extend the warranty to/on a second display, much less 7 of them.

There is no RADAR/Bug Reporting for sales or support, so I can only hope this is seen via RAB Friday at del.icio.us.

I decided that Report A Bug Friday is worth doing a while ago, but finding the time to do the bug reporting wasn’t as simple.

My First RAB submission is a simple, but semi-annoying one.

The Weather Widget Moves on reboot.
